In support of the Macao SAR Government’s continued efforts to contain the spread of the pandemic, SJM Resorts, S.A. activated its Emergency Volunteer Support Team to assist in the Third Mass Nucleic Acid Testing (NAT) Programme.
SJM’s Staff Welfare Consultative Committee organised over forty volunteer staff members, divided into two shifts, to provide assistance to the Social Welfare Bureau in the testing programme held at the Table Tennis Room of the Olympic Sports Centre (Macau Stadium) on 6 October. The volunteers helped on site to guide young children, the elderly, pregnant women and the disabled through designated “caring lanes” to ensure the tests were conducted in an orderly and efficient manner.
SJM Resorts fully supports the Government’s prevention and control measures in combating the virus. In the spirit of giving back to and caring for the Macau community, SJM joined forces with the Government to ensure a smooth NAT testing for safeguarding the health and safety of the entire Macau population.
