Wynn Macau has granted awards covering 317,938 shares to 315 employees under its employee ownership scheme, with most recipients scheduled to receive their shares in 2029 and 2030.
The awards were granted on October 5th at no purchase cost to recipients, subject to their acceptance, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing. They represent approximately 0.01 percent of the company’s issued share capital and will be fulfilled through the issuance of new shares.
For all but one recipient, half of the awards will vest on October 5th, 2029, and the remainder on October 5th, 2030. One employee’s awards will vest on September 6th, 2027, with the shorter vesting period attributed to administrative reasons.
The awards carry no performance targets, although they will lapse in circumstances including resignation, misconduct or breaches of company policies. None of the recipients is a director, chief executive or substantial shareholder of the company, or an associate of those parties.
Wynn Macau adopted the scheme in May 2023 to align participants’ interests with those of shareholders, attract talent and reward contributions to the group’s long-term growth.
