Macau gaming operator Sands China has solidified a comprehensive strategic partnership with two of the top main Chinese online platforms: Tencent Video and Maoyan Entertainment, setting the stage for future collaboration in various aspects.

According to a press release, the trio will synergize their respective strengths to fuel extensive cooperation, including large-scale offline events, lifestyle and entertainment content creation, and online marketing. This initiative aims to fortify Macau’s tourism industry diversification and elevate its status as a premier destination.

Tencent Video has 117 million subscribers and stands as a premier online video streaming destination. Maoyan Entertainment, a leading ‘technology + pan-entertainment’ service provider, complements the partnership with expertise in online ticketing and content services.

The group notes that this collaboration will streamline online and offline activities, optimize marketing impact, and enhance the ticketing experience. In particular, Sands China says it will integrate Maoyan’s ticket sales into its channels, while both parties collaborate on marketing resources to support leisure and entertainment programs. Maoyan will also play a key role in Sands China’s digital transformation, particularly in ticketing systems and membership points.

Sands China has a range of resort-based entertainment venues, such as the 15,000-seat Cotai Arena and the 1,800-seat Venetian Theater at The Venetian Macao. The Londoner Macao resort features the 6,000-seat Londoner Arena and the 1,700-seat Londoner Theater, while The Parisian Macao resort offers the 1,200-seat Parisian Theater.
