Lottery and integrated technology and services company AGTech Holdings Limited (AGTech) has announced that one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries has successfully won procurement tenders to supply lottery terminals to Sports Lottery Administration Centres in the Chinese provinces of Hainan and Guizhou provinces.
The board of directors of AGTech – an Alibaba Group subsidiary – expressed satisfaction in a dispatch that the new contracts are expected to enhance the group’s market position and drive further growth in the region.
AGTech Holdings Limited is an integrated lottery technology and services company in China, with operations spanning various aspects of the lottery industry, including the development and provision of lottery hardware and software, lottery systems and game design, and the supply of lottery terminals.
In 2023 the group reported a profit of more than HK$22 million ($2.8 million), a lot of it generated by Macau Pass Holding’s financial performance.
Last year the group won tenders to supply hardware lottery for multiple provinces: Anhui, Guizhou, Sichuan, Hunan, Hubei, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, and Guangdong.
