Organized by SpaChina Magazine and co-organized by SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”), the first SpaChina Global Health Forum was successfully held at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (“Grand Lisboa Palace”).

Exploring current wellness demands and future trends, the two-day forum gathered industry professionals, international experts and delegates from all over the world to engage in lively interactions and interesting dialogues. The global industry event is the first wellness and spa conference held in Macau, bringing into focus the marriage of traditional culture and the people, sparking session after session of inspiring discussions.

SJM is committed to promoting exchanges among industry professionals on topics of wellness and culture, leading development trends, and firmly supporting the diversification of the health industry. Themed “Cultural Immersion”, the SpaChina Global Health Forum delved into the latest industry developments, post-pandemic health subjects, nutritional studies and advanced technology.

It also included a panel on the traditional Chinese wisdom “Zen and Tea”, as well as a roundtable of experts on the subject “From ancient to modernity, from East to West”. The collision of different cultures, health practices, arts, traditions, economy and other aspects have brought about new approaches in the health industry.

Ms. Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, remarked, “SJM leverages the strength of Macau as a welcoming platform to proactively support the advancement of the holistic wellness industry across the region. We perceive significant potentials in the growing demand of this tourism sector, through which we hope to drive international visitation, solidify Macau’s reputation as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure, and fulfill our role in the nation’s development vision.
