MGM China announced that a discretionary bonus, equivalent to one month’s salary, will be paid to eligible team members.

The Macau SAR gaming concessionaire indicated that the bonus would be a ‘recognition for their continued hard work in the past year’, and will be paid around Chinese New Year of 2024, with over 95 percent team members to be rewarded.

MGM China outperformed the SAR’s industry recovery last year, being the only of the city’s six gaming concessionaires to report results better than 2019, before the pandemic.

MGM China has reported net revenues of $813 million for the months to September 30, 2023, representing an 829 percent improvement over the same period last year and 10 percent higher than pre-COVID levels.

“In 2023, we welcomed a year of robust recovery with our market share soaring to a record high […] We are confident in the Macau market, and will stay dedicated to fulfilling our development commitments to boost the city’s non-gaming elements and to attract more international visitors,” Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and President of MGM Resorts International and Co-Chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China said in the announcement.
