Goa announces new lockdown as Covid rises

Goa has announced a new lockdown from Thursday to Monday, including the state’s casinos, due to rising Covid cases.

Goa has six floating offshore casinos and machine gaming in five-star hotels. Health officials had been urging the government to shut the properties, saying they are creating super spreader events.
