Delta Corp, India’s largest casino operator, has expanded its land-based portfolio by taking over management of the casino at Goa’s Zuri White Sands Resort.
The casino, under the company’s Deltin brand, opened its doors on June 2nd.
“We are thrilled to begin operations of our seventh casino with Deltin Zuri and are excited to welcome all the guests and gaming enthusiasts,” Delta CEO Anil Malani said. “Goa is a city state which is always brimming with exciting tourist destinations, places offering delectable cuisine and unlimited entertainment for all.”
He said the casino would offer a “regal yet intriguing gaming experience.”
Goa has six floating offshore casinos, of which Deltin owns two. On land, casinos are housed in five-star hotels, but do not offer live tables.
The casino will be Deltin’s fourth land-based property after Deltin Suites-Goa, Deltin Denzong-Gangtok and Deltin Casino International-Kathmandu.
