Century Entertainment changes auditor amid business transformation

Century Entertainment International Holdings has said its auditor, Fan, Chan & Co. Limited has resigned, with Crowe (HK) CPA Limited appointed as a replacement, as the group reshapes its gaming operations and expands into new businesses.

The resignation took effect on September 15th, the Hong Kong-listed company said in a filing to the stock exchange late Monday.

Fan, Chan & Co. confirmed there were no matters related to its departure that needed to be brought to shareholders’ attention, apart from issues already disclosed in its March 2025 audit report concerning the recoverability of receivables.

The board said the change was prompted by factors including the group’s business development, the expected scale of operations and cost management considerations.

Century Entertainment is diversifying from its core gaming business into sourcing and distributing premium camellia seed oil.

Crowe will serve as the company’s auditor until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting.
