Melco Resorts and Entertainment has opened Europe’s largest integrated resort, City of Dreams Mediterranean in Limassol, Cyprus, which “marks the start of the most exciting chapter,” notes Melco’s Chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho.
The property, which officially opened on July 11th, “allows Cyprus to unlock new markets in the region and beyond”.

The 600-million-euro ($650 million) venue houses some 500 guest rooms and suites, 8,000 square meters of MICE space, an outdoor amphitheater, family adventure park, dining and luxury retail.
It also features a 7,500-square-meter casino with table games, a designated poker area, slot machines and live entertainment. The property also houses a VIP members club.

Speaking of the opening, Grant Johnson, Property Manager of City of Dreams Mediterranean noted that “Cyprus is now ready to compete across Europe and the Middle East in luxury tourism and large-scale conferences”.
CoD Mediterranean held a soft opening in June.
