Safer Gambling charities Better Change, Betknowmore, NPDG (USA) and AGOG (Netherlands) each received a donation of £13,200 at a presentation ceremony held on the opening day of ICE London (7th February). The  Consumer Protection Zone (CPZ), which was recognised by the industry at the 2022 Global Regulatory Awards where it won the Responsible Approach to Advertising/Marketing category, features a record 20 stands, up from the 2022 figure of 14.  One of the highest profile features on the ICE show floor the CPZ comprises a blend of providers of responsible gambling tools and solutions alongside leading not for profit organisations which have been gifted space.

Participating organisations include the Gambling Commission, Focal Research, Casino Guru, Future Anthem, Department of Trust, Mindway AI, Epic Gaming, LexisNexis, Rightlander, IGT, SG:Certified, W2, Crucial Compliance, GamCare, YGAM, Gordon Moody, Gamstop, BetKnowmore, Responsible Gaming Council and the National Center Problem Gaming.

Clarion Gaming’s Director of Industry Insight and Engagement, Ewa Bakun, who introduced the Consumer Protection Zone at the 2018 edition of ICE London said: “I’m delighted that thanks to the support of CPZ sponsors we’ve been able to raise such an impressive sum for organisations which do so much in the safer gambling space. This year we have included two organisations active outside the UK a decision which reflects the international credentials of ICE London, which consistently attracts industry professionals from more than 100 nations.”
