Several Bavet casinos closed in lockdown

Cambodia’s border town of Bavet has become partially locked down for 14 days in order to contain the spread of covid-19 in the area.

Some venues have been shut including Bavet-Mok Bay International Entertainment, New World Casino, Good Luck Casino and the Emperor Company in the town’s Bavet commune.

The province has so far recorded 304 cases, 230 of which are active as of Monday 19th April.
