Cambodian casino operator NagaCorp says it has completed its $200 million additional notes issue on June 15, 2021.
In an earlier filing, NagaCorp said it undertook the notes issue in order to raise additional capital to strengthen the group’s working capital and for other general purposes.
Its casino in Phnom Penh has been closed since March 2, 2021 due to a surge in covid-19 cases in the country. NagaCorp says it has taken proactive measures to manage the situation, including a rationalization program to improve cost efficiency, including the cutting of a number of its staff.
