Phnom Penh, Takhmao placed under two-week lockdown

Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh and neighbouring Takhmao will be placed under lockdown from two weeks from today to help curb the spread of Covid 19.

Cambodia has been successful in its efforts to battle Covid until a community spreading event in February this year lead to the worst outbreak to date and the country’s first death. The country’s largest casino, NagaWorld, in the capital is also closed.
