Phnom Penh police crack down on seven illegal gambling operations

Cambodian authorities on Sunday cracked down on seven illegal online gambling dens operating in Phnom Penh, with owners arrested and sent to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court.

Local media reported that the owners violated the Health Ministry’s lockdown rules.

Online gambling operations have also been strictly forbidden in Cambodia since the start of 2020.
