Phnom Penh City Hall has imposed new restrictions as covid-19 cases in the capital city continue to surge.
Under the new rules, gatherings of 15 people or more have been banned, and any occupation or business activity that has a high risk of spreading covid-19 has been halted as well.
This includes schools, vocational schools, and all kinds of clubs, resorts, museums, theme parks, massage parlours, cinemas, art galleries, fitness clubs and sport centers.
NagaWorld, the city’s only integrated resort operator has already been closed as of March 1 due to a number of employees testing positive for covid-19 along with a rise of cases in the city.
