The Star pleads guilty to new charges of breaking Queensland casino legislation: report

Australian gaming operator The Star has pleaded guilty to new charges of breaching state casino legislation in Queensland, according to reports by AAP.

The publication notes that the operator of the Brisbane Treasury Casino and Star Gold Coast pleaded guilty to seven charges linked to purchasing gambling chips with a credit card, which took place in separate periods between June 2017 and December 2018 and March and April of 2022.

The sentencing for the breaches has been scheduled for June 2nd.
