Crown Melbourne to reopen Friday, but casino remains shut

Crown Resorts said its Crown Melbourne property will be allowed to reopen its hotel, food and beverage services from Friday, June 11, though the casino will remain shut.

The property has been closed for two weeks due to a government lockdown order after new Covid clusters.

The company said it will financially support the staff who remain stood down, which includes the majority of gaming operational staff, by paying an additional discretionary payment.
