Evolution Gaming 21Q1 growth boosted by Asia, NA

Evolution Gaming Group beat analyst expectations with its first quarter earnings, as the pandemic boosted demand for online casinos games.

Asia and North America have driven growth, with 21Q1 EBTIDA at EUR160.1 million, up from EUR144.3 million in the prior-year period.

Chief executive Martin Carlesund said that live casino games saw some operational challenges which limited the effect of increased demand, but its slots business saw a very strong quarter.
