Meanwhile, back home, Macau’s path to recovery is proving long and arduous.
What you need to know
- Fitch Ratings places Macau’s gross gaming revenue recovery curve for 2022-2024 with estimated revenues of 27 percent, 50 percent, and 70 percent of 2019 levels, key risks abound.
- Morgan Stanley’s AlphaWise survey revealed that more investors have exclusions on the gambling sector, from 29 percent in 2022 up from 24 percent in 2021.

- Macau Tourist Price Index registers a marginal drop.
G2E Las Vegas welcomed 25,000 global gaming suppliers, operators, and industry visitors at The Venetian Expo for four massive days of exhibition, networking, and conference sessions. The Global Gaming Expo returned to Las Vegas this week for a fully in-person event, highlighting the casino gaming industry’s strength and dynamic future. The attendance is nearly double G2E 2021’s 13,000 and just shy of 2019’s total of about 27,000. G2E 2023 will return to Las Vegas on October 9-12, 2023 at The Venetian Expo.
