PAGCOR expecting POGOs to completely disappear by Dec 15
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has confirmed that all Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) will shut down by the end of this year, following a crackdown on illegal activities linked to these entities. PAGCOR Chairperson Alejandro Tengco announced that the number of operational POGOs has dwindled from 298 to 13 as of November 30, with a complete closure expected by December 15th.
