Good Morning. New York. Concrete jungle where dreams are made of. And those dreams just got a lot more real for Genting’s Resorts World New York City, after securing approval for the first commercial casino in the state. While there are still hoops to jump through, the group can now go ahead with its multi-billion-dollar redevelopment plan for its Queens property and tap into a highly-lucrative market. Looking at Macau, analysts have high hopes for December, boosted by a late-November surge after the National Games. But even the increase wonโt stop the closure of more satellite casinos, with Kam Pek and Casino Fortuna on the chopping block.
