Vietnam’s Grand Ho Tram will be permitted to accept domestic guests from Sept. 15, as the pandemic situation in its local area has improved.
According to VNExpress, the opening will be under stringent guidelines. All guests must be fully vaccinated within the past 12 months. They will need to undergo Covid testing on the first, sixth and 13th days and they will not be allowed to exit the facilities.
Staff will stay at the workplace and will have been vaccinated at least once for Covid at least 14 days prior to starting work. They need to be tested every 72 hours, the newspaper said.
Grand Ho Tram is situated on the coast of southern Vietnam about an hour’s drive from Ho Chi Minh City. The resort is not permitted to allow locals to gamble in its casinos.
Tourism facilities in the province have been shuttered since June.
The Grand Ho Tram was Vietnam’s first integrated resort and was this summer rebranded at the Intercontinental Grand Ho Tram.
