Light & Wonder, formerly known as Scientific Games Corporation, has announced the completion of its formal name change to Light & Wonder Inc, along with a change in its NASDAQ ticker symbol “LNW” from April 29, 2022.
The first time the company announced the name change was during a 4Q21 earnings conference call in March. The company said the name change reflects a new company direction that will focus on cross-platform game development across all channels.
Light & Wonder told its shareholders they do not need to take action in connection with the change in the ticker symbol.
Their shares currently trading on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol “SGMS” will automatically commence trading under the new ticker symbol as of market open on April 29, 2022.
