MEMBERS of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation’s (PAGCOR’s) Board of Directors, led by Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco, honored the topnotcher and the employees who passed the 2022 Philippine Bar Examination during the Executive Committee Meeting held on April 19, 2023 at the PAGCOR Executive Office in Manila.

Bar topnotcher Czar Matthew Gerard Dayday whose parents both work as dealers for Casino Filipino, was awarded a Certificate of Distinction and a cash gift by the state-run gaming firm and regulator for his outstanding achievement.

Chairman Tengco also announced a host of rewards await Dayday including a laptop of his choice from President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta- Marcos.

The PAGCOR Board also recognized and rewarded Casino Filipino Branch Manager Michael Joseph De Jesus Bailey and Casino Filipino-Cebu Pit Officer Malou Pangalangan for passing the Bar Exam.

Tengco explained that PAGCOR decided to honor the Bar topnotcher as it was historic for the agency that a child of two of its employees, Cesar and Emily Dayday, topped the 2022 Philippine Bar Examination.
