Malaysian-based supplier RGB International had a 142 percent revenue increase for the third quarter of the year, totaling RM170.36 million.

In total, the group saw profit of RM26.24 million – a steep rise of some 1,963 percent yearly.

Total EBITDA for the group amounted to RM39.72 million in the third quarter.

The group’s sales and marketing segment brought in the highest revenue, at RM137.43 million – up 212 percent yearly, with profit totalling RM23.35 million – up 278 percent yearly.

Despite the yearly rise, profit from the Sales and Marketing segment was down 23 percent quarterly, while revenue was down 55 percent quarterly.

The group notes this was due to ‘the decrease in number of products sold and variation in product mix as compared to the previous quarter’.

Looking towards the end of the year, ‘the group expects to achieve a strong performance […] underpinned by the sturdy orders secured to date, despite facing inflationary pressure on its operating costs’.
