The largest Hard Rock Hotel in Asia is slated to open in 2027 in Malaysia, at Genting Highlands.

According to reports, the venue will encompass over 1,000 rooms and suites and 200 square meters of retail space, as well as a swimming pool, spa and F&B.

The venture marks the third Hard Rock Hotel in the country – with the others located in Penang and Johor.

Hard Rock International signed the agreement with HR Hotel & Residences to cement the deal.

Located in King’s Park, the property will be around 33 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur, and is in close proximity to Resorts World Genting. The area aims to become Genting Highlands’ first business and entertainment district.

The overall development, tagged at RM10 billion in development value, features resorts, the world’s largest terrarium and theme parks, alongside retail.

The project, as part of King’s Park, will be jointly developed by HR Resort & Residences Sdn Bhd and Hard Rock International.
