MGM China said its non-executive director James Armin Freeman has resigned from the board to pursue other opportunities.

The company has in turn appointed MGM Resorts International Chief Financial Officer Jonathan S. Halkyard as non-executive director.

Halkyard joined the parent company in January, where he is responsible for overseeing all financial activities across MGMRI’s domestic and international portfolios, as well as investor relations, accounting, procurement, treasury and tax.

The three-year position is unpaid.
