Change in MGM China board, as Pansy Ho and William Hornbuckle re-elected

MGM China, Cotai-Macau

MGM China has re-elected Chairperson Pansy Ho and Co-Chairperson William Hornbuckle to its Board of Directors, both in the role of Executive Director, while announcing a change of non-executive directors.

Following an annual general meeting last Thursday, the group announced that Chen Wong has resigned from his role as Executive Director, to be replaced by Jenny Lau.

Wong tendered his resignation ‘due to his retirement plans’, according to a company filing.

Previous filings indicate that Wong had worked with the Ho-family operated Shun Tak Group from 2000 to 2007, becoming the Director of the Grand Paradise Group in 2004 and later the Director of MGM Grand Paradise Limited in 2007.

Jenny Lau also spent time with Shun Tak, as Director of Corporate Finance, later moving through a series of construction and property related companies before joining the Grand Paradise Group (HK) in 2015.

Lau has been a member of MGM China’s Compliance Committee since 2021.
