Re-imagining Macau for a diversified future

Macau expects to welcome about 8 million tourists this year, down from 40 million in 2019, but higher than last year’s number, Macau Government Tourism Office Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandez said.

Due out outbreaks of Covid in Guangdong, daily arrivals have dropped to about 15,000-16,000 a year in June, though she hopes numbers will return to the same levels seen in April and May over the summer holidays.
