Sands China designates Grant Chum as CEO and President amongst leadership revamp

Sands China has announced a series of changes to its leadership, with Grant Chum assuming the role of CEO of the company, as Robert Goldstein steps back from the role. Chum will also assume the role of President of Sands China, as Wilfred Wong is promoted to Executive Vice Chairman.

Goldstein, also the Chairman and CEO of parent company Las Vegas Sands, will remain on with Sands as the Chairman of the Board, while being redesignated as a non-executive director.

Chum has served as Sands China’s COO since February of 2020, also holding various other roles with the company and its parent – being an Executive Vice President – Asia Operations at LVS.

He has served with LVS since July of 2013, having previously spent 14 years at UBS Investment Bank.

The company also announced that Dave Sun MinQi would be redesignated as Executive Vice President, while maintaining his role as Chief Financial Officer (one he’s held since April of 2017). He has also served as the Senior Vice President of Sands China since 2017.

Dylan Williams has also been promoted to Executive Vice President, while maintaining his role as General Counsel and Company Secretary – a role he’s held since February of 2020.
