Sands Resorts Macao, a prominent Macau gaming operator, took part in the ‘Journey to Experience Macao’ roadshow held in Tokyo, Japan, from April 17-20. Organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), this inaugural international roadshow of the year featured a vibrant display of Macao’s diverse ‘tourism+’ offerings, aiming to attract a broader range of travelers to the region.
The event also served as a platform for Sands Resorts Macao to present Londoner Grand, its newest hotel opening, alongside a diverse range of integrated resort offerings to Japan’s residents, tourists and industry professionals.

The informative programme, comprising a four-day roadshow and travel mart, was designed to spark interest in Macao as a destination of choice for leisure and business travellers. To achieve this, varied travel experiences highlighting the city’s abundant cultural heritage, world-class entertainment, delightful culinary landscape and state-of-the-art facilities were presented. In addition, Sands Resorts Macao hosted an afternoon tea event at Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo for industry trade partners, select media, and representatives from the Government of Japan, to share more details about Londoner Grand and the exciting events planned for the official opening in June.
Visitors to the roadshow were captivated by Sands Resorts Macao’s elegant booth, which spotlights Londoner Grand as its central theme. Situated within The Londoner Macao integrated resort, Londoner Grand offers discerning travellers an unparalleled opportunity to discover Macao’s rich cultural charm while enjoying refined, immersive experiences.
Roadshow attendees who follow The Londoner Macao’s Instagram account and share their booth photos on social media received a special gift, and to further entice visitors to embark on a grand adventure to Macao, Sands Resorts Macao was offering exclusive stay privileges to guests who book accommodation at any of its properties.
Sands Resorts Macao’s three interconnected integrated resorts, comprising The Venetian Macao, The Parisian Macao and The Londoner Macao, offer a variety of accommodation including hotels with Forbes Five-Star ratings, more than 150 food outlets including Michelin-starred and award-winning restaurants, duty free shopping at approximately 850 retailers and standout experiences such as classic gondola rides, the half-scale Eiffel Tower offering breath-taking views of Cotai Strip, and The Changing of the Guard entertainment extravaganza.
Such diversified and unmatched travel experiences add to Macao’s global appeal, making Sands Resorts Macao’s integrated resorts the premier travel destination for leisure and MICE, further supporting MGTO’s effort to propel Macao’s development into a world centre of tourism and leisure.
