MGM China/Melco announce bonus for non-management staff

MGM China and Melco Resorts & Entertainment have announced they will pay a bonus equivalent to one-month’s salary to all eligible non-management employees.

The MGM bonus will be paid in two installments in two installments before and after the 2021 Chinese New Year.

Pansy Ho, co-chairperson and executive director of MGM China, said, “2020 was a year full of challenges. We thank our team members from the bottom of our hearts for staying united, as well as being loyal to contribute their best to the company. Looking into 2021, MGM will continue to invest in our team members. With our innovative mindset and courage to change, we will achieve greatness together with Macau this year.”

The Melco bonus will also be paid to all eligible non-management employees.

Lawrence Ho, chairman and CEO of Melco Resorts & Entertainment, said, “We are pleased to announce a non-recurring discretionary bonus to recognize the hard work, loyalty and dedication of our eligible non-management colleagues ahead of the Chinese New Year. The year 2020 has certainly been challenging; affecting businesses and communities all around the world. We appreciate our colleagues’ every contribution during this difficult time as we continue to stand as one to weather the challenges in the new year with optimism and courage.”
