The MGS Entertainment Show & Summit, a prominent casino trade exhibition and conference, is scheduled to make its return to Macau next week, with the organizer aiming to draw more than 5,000 industry professionals and visitors, as announced on Wednesday.
The event is set for November 14th and 15th, taking place at the Galaxy International Convention Center (GICC) within the Galaxy Macau integrated resort.
Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer of Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), is scheduled to deliver a keynote address.
During the press conference, Chairman Jay Chun of the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA) announced that there would be 35 registered exhibitors for the trade show, primarily suppliers of gaming machines and other gaming equipment.
Jay Chun told the media that the enforcement of the new gaming law has accelerated the transformation of Macau’s gaming industry. The six gaming concessionaires are now focused on exploring overseas tourist source markets and implementing various non-gaming projects as planned.
In this context, Chun stresses that the MGS will also ‘follow the pace.’ The event is expected to continuously promote industry development and enhance industrial competitiveness.
Additionally, the show is expected to foster the healthy and sustainable development of the gaming industry and contribute to the internationalization of this Asian gaming hub.
