Indian gaming operator Delta Corp has announced a strong increase in its results for the fiscal year ended March 31st, with net revenue of 1,020.77 crore ($124.5 million), up 65.6 percent yearly, despite a slight drop in revenue during the fourth fiscal quarter.
The group registered some 1,010.65 crore from gaming operations during the fiscal year, with another 191.39 crore from online skill gaming operations, while its hospitality sector brought in 56 crore.
During the quarter ended March 31st, the group registered total income of 245.94 crore, down by 13.7 percent compared to the December quarter, but up slightly year-on-year.
The group operates the country’s two largest floating casinos and a floating casino hotel in Goa.
During the final fiscal quarter, the group notes that its largest casino vessel “Deltin Royale”, was out of operation for 29 days, due to being under maintenance at a dry dock, which the group notes ‘impacted the gaming revenue during the current quarter’.
