BetBlocker adds Serbian language support to its service

BetBlocker, the UK and US-based charity offering free, anonymous gambling management tools, has launched a Serbian-language version of its app, significantly expanding access to support services for Serbian speakers globally.

This initiative, made possible through a collaboration with affiliate platform Gamblers Connect, is part of BetBlocker’s ongoing effort to localise its services. With over 10 million Serbian speakers worldwide, the addition marks a meaningful step in addressing gambling-related harm in a linguistically inclusive way.

Gamblers Connect provided pro bono translation support for the project, underscoring the growing role affiliates can play in promoting responsible gambling.

“This is a win for everyone,” said Duncan Garvie, Founder and Trustee of BetBlocker. “Serbia lacks broad support options for those facing gambling problems, so this is a substantial step forward. It also sets a powerful example of how affiliates can support harm-minimisation initiatives.”

Gjorgje Ristikj, Founder of Gamblers Connect, added: “We’re proud to support this launch. Making tools like BetBlocker accessible in local languages truly makes a difference.”

The rollout builds on BetBlocker’s strategy to make responsible gambling tools more accessible across linguistic and geographic boundaries.
