Games Global exclusive studios take home three huge wins at the International Gaming Awards

In what has been a stellar start to the Games Global era, the company took home three wins from the International Gaming Awards (IGA) across their network of exclusive studio brands on Monday 6 February.

The 2023 International Gaming Awards ceremony, held at the prestigious Savoy Hotel London, saw the top names in iGaming from around the world come together to celebrate the incredible talent and innovation the industry has to offer. With awards across 31 categories encompassing both the online and land-based sectors, operators, suppliers, developers and more, the iGaming powerhouse was delighted to see 11 shortlistings over 5 different categories for the Games Global camp.

An absolute mammoth win for the network’s first year of operation, was the highly coveted award for Game of the Year (Games Studio Category), picked up by Gameburger Studios. The competition was fierce, and it was indeed nerve-wracking on the ground as Games Global had five horses in the race, but the eventual winner was the standout title, Fishin’ Pots of Gold™, and it couldn’t have been more deserved.

Another fantastic win for the Games Global network was the Rising Star of the Year award, taken home by PearFiction Studios. This award usually plays an early indicator of brands that will go on to do great things, and the self-proclaimed Pearfectionists will no doubt follow suit. In three short years, they have built themselves a reputation for producing engaging titles with big, bold graphics and immersive gameplay.

Just For The Win rounded off Games Global’s night of accolades by picking up the RNG Casino Supplier of the Year award. Already an award-winning studio, the team at Just For the Win are industry experts with a keen passion for their craft. They focus on creating the perfect mix of fun mechanics, beautiful aesthetics and solid maths models resulting in the consistent production of high performing games that engage and entertain players worldwide.

The hugely successful evening helped showcase the Games Global network just in time for ICE 2023, which began on Tuesday 7 February.
