Imperial Pacific International faces claims exceeding $21 million from judgment creditors

Imperial Pacific International LLC is indebted to judgment creditors in both federal and local courts, encompassing the tax lien maintained by the CNMI Division of Revenue and Taxation, amounting to a total of $21,108,568.71.

According to reports from Marianas Variety, attached to Joshua Gray’s petition for an order to show cause regarding the distribution of auction proceeds, there is a detailed list outlining the judgment creditors of IPI and the corresponding judgments owed by the casino investor.

Gray, the former director of operations at IPI, prevailed in his lawsuit against the company, securing a judgment for racial discrimination and wrongful termination.

Attorneys Aaron Halegua and Bruce Berline, representing Gray, secured a federal court judgment awarding him a total of $5.68 million in compensatory and punitive damages.

The reports also reveal a list of IPI’s judgment creditors in federal court, which includes Kan Pacific Saipan Ltd., Joshua Gray, Winzy Corporation, Tang’s Corp. among others.
