Suncity completes sale of Access Achievement

Suncity Group said it has completed the disposal of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Access Achievement, for HK$184.42 million ($27.7 million).

The group says that the proceeds from the disposal will go toward repaying debt and as general working capital.

Suncity has recently launched a voluntary lay-off scheme in Macau, which reports indicate are to cut down costs as part of the group’s restructuring due to the pandemic. The group’s units have also sold other assets, such as properties in the Philippines.
