Asia governments crackdown on illegal border crossing to stem Covid

Cambodia-Poipet

Governments in Southeast Asia are reportedly cracking down on illegal migrant labour and border crossings to stem a growing outbreak of Covid-19.

Cambodia this week ordered casinos in Poipet to close, in part because of workers illegally crossing the border into Vietnam. Thailand is also cracking down on migrant workers as a third wave threatens.
