The PokerStars LIVE APPT Cambodia has crowned its sixth champion, with Maggie Chien-Chih Weng making history by becoming the first-ever female APPT Cambodia winner.
Weng triumphed over the 89-strong Event #8 $550 Mystery Bounty field, putting on a commanding final table performance that saw her take the $7,337 top prize.
This win gives Weng membership to an exclusive club of female APPT winners featuring the likes of Kristen Bicknell (2018 APPT Macau High Roller champion), Kitty Kuo (2015 APPT Asia Championship of Poker Teams Event champion), JJ Liu (2014 APPT Macau High Roller champion), Celina Lin (2013 APPT Asia Championship of Poker HK$8,800 No Limit Hold’em champion), and Vivian Im (2010 APPT Philippines, Cebu Main Event champion).
