Unibet charged with illegal gambling adverts

Australian wagering company Unibet has been convicted of posting three illegal gambling advertisements in November 2020, with court-imposed fines totaling $48,000.

“The offenses relate to the publication on the Unibet website and Apple App Store on 26 November 2020, of the availability of the Uniboost, Uplift and Reboost products which are a form of special or enhanced odds,” said NSW Liquor & Gaming’s A/Compliance Director Darren Duke.
