Gaming Laboratories International Group (GLI) has announced that it has acquired the online gaming systems testing lab iTech Labs.
In a note on Friday, GLI noted that it had acquired all the outstanding shares of the company and that it was now a wholly owned subsidiary of GLI Australia.
The group notes that iTech Labs ‘will continue to operate its global network of testing laboratories independently while coordinating its efforts with GLI’s larger sales and back-office staff globally’.
Speaking about the acquisition, GLI CEO and President James R. Maida noted that “We are pleased iTech will continue to be branded as iTech and will operate as they have over the past 19 years […] the entire management, testing and sales teams will continue to operate and be licensed in the jurisdictions they serve”.
