She is also a board member of the Melbourne Business School, where she is the Chair of Finance, Risk, and Audit.

VGCCC said that Kimmitt was appointed CEO following an extensive recruitment process.

VGCCC Chair Fran Thorn said Ms. Kimmitt would bring significant experience and leadership skills to her role as CEO.

“Her background in the business world and her experience in audit and risk management, in particular, will be a huge asset to our regulation of the gambling and liquor industries and ensuring harm minimisation.”
