Australia’s Aquis Entertainment said it knows of no particular reason why it’s share price surged on Thursday on heavy volumes.

Shares in the operator of Casino Canberra ended up 7.5 percent at $0.22, after reaching as high as $0.33 earlier in the day. The movement prompted a request for information from the Australian Stock Exchange.
