Crown Melbourne closed for a further seven days, staff stood down

Crown Resorts said its flagship Melbourne property will be closed for another seven days until June 10 and that it’s standing down most of its staff as a result.

Employees will receive a one-off discretionary payment.

Authorities in Victoria have extended the lockdown in Melbourne for a further seven days after six new cases were reported taking the total in the latest outbreak to 60.
