Indian gaming operator Delta Corp reported a net loss of Rs. 24.1 crore (US$3.2 million) in the year ended March 2021, with net sales falling 45.8 percent compared to the prior year period.
The group has dealt with lockdowns announced by the government of India which began from the third week of March 2020 until October 30, 2020.
Casino operations were able to open in Goa and Sikkim from the first week of November 2020, but only at 50 percent capacity. However, the Delta Caravela casino was only able to resume operations in January 2021, and Deltin Nepal had not resumed operations until March 31, 2021.Â
