Macau GGR up 13% week-on-week: Bernstein

Macau’s gross gambling revenue continued to improve in the third week of March, rising 13 percent from the prior week and up 18 percent from February, according to Bernstein Research.

The firm said the improvement came despite VIP hold being below normal levels.

However, Bernstein continues to repeat that it doesn’t expect a more meaningful pick up until there are major changes to Covid testing requirements into Macau, or until Mainland Chinese can use e-kiosks to apply for individual visit scheme visas.
