Police in China have busted an illegal gambling operation built on the EOS blockchain network.
15 people were arrested in December and around $3.8 million in bitcoin and EOS was seized.
The arrests are just another example of the wider crackdown on cross-border gambling initiated by Chinese authorities.
There was a time when it was believed that blockchain technology would be able to be used to mask operations particularly in countries in which gambling is frowned upon.
