Macau’s mass market baccarat half of GGR in Q1

Mass market baccarat accounted for 51 percent of Macau’s gross gambling revenue in the first quarter of this year, according to figures released by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.

The games brought in MOP12.06 billion of the quarter’s MOP23.64 billion in GGR. That was up from MOP11.85 billion the prior quarter.

VIP baccarat also saw sequential growth, coming in at MOP9.12 billion, up from MOP7.62 billion in the prior quarter and accounted for 38 percent of the total. Slot machine revenue was MOP1.1 billion
